IRS Charges Veteran For Lost Equipment


Gerrad Branum, a veteran who served in Iraq in the early 2000s, was recently charged for equipment that had been lost nearly a decade ago.  According to the veteran, on his way home from a tour in Iraq, a bag of equipment that had been issued to him was missing.  Now the IRS took $1,600 out of his tax return to pay for the equipment.
